The SBA 2024 route will again commence with the ascent of Furka Pass on July 27th from Andermatt.

Spanning 1300km with a 24000-meter elevation gain, the course will guide riders through iconic cols, serene backroads, breathtaking views, picturesque lakes, delectable cuisine, diverse culture, and – no checkpoints.

The starting point also serves as the finishing point. It’s simply cycling in paradise.

SBA 2024 registration will open on Saturday, and the official start date will be announced then.

Aleš Vaníček, alongside Bert Vohn, put on a spectacular show during the final ascent to the San Gottard pass.

Covering 1300km with 25,000 meters of climbing, Aleš claimed victory as the first rider to cross the finish line, with Bert arriving 15 minutes later.

The 4th edition of SBA will traditionally kick off from Andermatt.

Furka Pass with a peak at 2,431 meters above sea level will be the first giant on the route to be conquered.

The view from the top is breathtaking – deep valleys, twisting hairpin turns, and the oldest glacier in the Alps!
