The 2027 Swiss Bike Adventure brings again fresh twist to the classic route!
In the Jura region, we’re keeping the same course – there aren’t many alternative options, and it’s simply an amazing area that remains relatively unknown to many riders.
The new route includes several fresh climbs, such as Les Agittes and Bernina Pass. With Bernina and Splügen Pass, the route even makes again a short visit to Italy, this time the Veltline. The total distance and elevation gain will be about the same as in 2021 and 2022 editions.
Once again, the start and finish are set in Andermatt, right in the heart of Switzerland. Perfectly connected by train from all corners of Europe – whether you arrive from Milan in the south or Zurich in the north – Andermatt is your gateway to an unforgettable ride through the high mountains.
Big climbs – up to 15 Alpine Giants
Switzerland is Europe’s most mountainous country, and the Swiss-Bike Adventure proudly showcases it. The 2027 route features 15 major climbs – a mix of legendary passes and hidden gems that define the Swiss Alps.
Each climb offers its own rhythm, views, and challenge – from quiet forest roads to high-alpine switchbacks surrounded by glaciers.
