The 2027 Swiss Bike Adventure brings again fresh twist to the classic route!
In the Jura region, we’re keeping the same course – there aren’t many alternative options, and it’s simply an amazing area that remains relatively unknown to many riders.
The new route includes several fresh climbs, such as Les Agittes and Bernina Pass, and Splügenpass. With Bernina and Splügen Pass, the route even makes again a short visit to Italy, this time the Veltline. The total distance and elevation gain will be about the same as in 2021 and 2022 editions.
Once again, the start and finish are set in Andermatt, right in the heart of Switzerland. Perfectly connected by train from all corners of Europe – whether you arrive from Milan in the south or Zurich in the north – Andermatt is your gateway to an unforgettable ride through the high mountains.

Roads
The route unfolds mostly along smooth, quiet roads, where traffic is rare and the scenery endless. Only one short gravel stretch of 4.3 km near Chasseral. With 28 mm tyres, you’ll roll comfortably all the way to the finish – ready for every climb, curve, and view the route has to offer.

The 2027 route features 15 major climbs – a mix of legendary passes and hidden gems that define the Swiss Alps.
